Connect Silo to ChatGPT

Silo is a remote MCP server compatible with the OpenAI Apps SDK. Add it to ChatGPT and it can recall, ask, remember, and forget across your silo and connected data through provider-blind tools.

Add as a custom connector (Developer Mode)

On a plan that supports custom connectors, enable Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → Developer Mode, then Create a connector and paste the remote MCP server URL:

Choose OAuth for authentication and run Scan Tools. Complete the Silo sign-in prompt; on first connect you choose which services to share.

What ChatGPT can do

  • →silo_recall — search and open your memory and connected data.
  • →silo_ask — get a finished, silo-grounded answer.
  • →silo_remember — save knowledge into a silo.
  • →silo_forget — remove knowledge from a silo.
