Connect
Connect Silo to Claude
Silo is a remote MCP server. Add it to Claude once and Claude can recall, ask, remember, and forget across your silo and connected data — without ever seeing which underlying service a result came from.
Add as a custom connector
On a Claude Free, Pro, or Max plan, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the remote MCP server URL:
https://connect.onesilo.com/mcpOr use this prefilled install link — it opens the Add-connector dialog with the name and URL filled in (you still confirm before anything connects):
Claude will walk you through Silo's OAuth sign-in. On first connect you choose which services to share. After that, Claude holds a token and reaches Silo from Anthropic's cloud — no API key to manage.
What Claude can do
- →silo_recall — search and open your memory and connected data (messages, files, notes, tasks, events, finances, contacts, code).
- →silo_ask — get a finished, silo-grounded answer.
- →silo_remember — save knowledge into a silo.
- →silo_forget — remove knowledge from a silo.
Claude only ever receives provider-blind tools — it never sees the underlying service names. See the data model for shapes, slices, and handles.
